Jonathan Orr, Executive Director

Jonathan Orr is the founder of ATS and a former NFL player. After a successful college career at the University of Wisconsin and two seasons in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans and Oakland Raiders, Orr began his transition into life after athletics. Orr established ATS to help athletes have a successful and healthy transition into the next phase of life.

Jeremy Orr,  Leadership Development Specialist

Jeremy is former 2-sport student-athlete for Michigan State University (Football and Track). After earning Bachelors, Jeremy stayed on with Spartans Track & Field and Cross Country programs as a graduate assistant coach while pursuing his Masters in Criminal Justice. Jeremy would return to MSU to earn his Law Degree. Jeremy currently resides in Detroit where he manages his own social justice-based legal practice, specializing in civil rights law.

Tierra Barber, Health & Wellness Specialist

Tierra Barber has a solid foundation in collegiate athletics for over 18 years. Beginning as a student-athlete, she has evolved from a graduate student, Study Hall and Tutor Coordinator, Academic Advisor and now a professional within Student-Athlete Development at Baylor University. She directly oversees the Baylor Leadership Academy, has facilitated the Big 12 Leadership Summit, the NCAA Leadership Forum, Career in Sports Forum, DiSC assessment and is a Green Dot trained instructor.

Dr. Terrance Green, Academic Success Specialist

Dr. Terrance L. Green is an award-winning assistant professor at the University of Texas at Austin in the Educational Administration Department, author, and speaker. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. Terrance L. Green, Ph.D. and is the author of the books: Becoming An All “A” Student: The Quick & Easy Guide to Getting a 4.0 (2008) and 7 Principles for Achieving Academic Greatness Workbook (2010).

Aaron Burks, Business Partnerships Specialist

Aaron M. Burks is a Sports Industry Entrepreneurial Consultant. He worked with the AC Milan Jr. Camp and contributed to their successful first youth camp in New Zealand.  Aaron has played both advisor and client servicing roles for professional athletes with sports agencies. Aaron’s primary focus has been implementing post-career strategies for athletes. Prior to earning his M.A. in Sports Management from the University of San Francisco, Aaron attended Indiana University on a football scholarship where he played defensive back for the Hoosiers during 2006-2010 seasons.

Alonzo Jones, Health & Wellness Specialist

Alonzo Jones has Twenty-five plus years in higher education, currently serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Championship Life & Inclusion at Arizona State University.
In addition to serving as a higher education practitioner, also a recent author of the book, Warriors & Sexual Conquest, addressing the physical stage of male development (18-22) in the space of college while managing peer status, high social interests, and their future. Skilled in Public Speaking, Event Planning, Organizational Management, and programs supporting the retention and growth of young men.
